As population increases needs such as employment, transportation, etc., also increases gradually. These basic needs can also become an indirect source of pollution, especially Air pollution. An industry not only creates employment but also releases poisonous gases which increase the carbon level in the atmosphere. Acid rain resulting due to this pollution causes harmful diseases like liver cancer, skin diseases etc., to humans. A carbon free city has been designed in Abu Dhabi called Cityscape Abu Dhabi. The cost to bring the cityscape alive estimates 190 billion dollars and the work will be completed in 2030. It may be difficult for our India to create such city but it is easy to plant trees to avoid air pollution. If every one of us thinks that, it is our responsibility. Preventing deforestation can also serve the purpose.
